New DOL rules go into effect beginning on Jan 1, 2020.  Overtime and minimum wage has been a hot topic for the last several years, legislation almost went into in effect in 2017 but was stopped by several states coming forward with legal action.  Now in September of 2019 the federal Department of Labor has released final legislation to update the salary threshold.
