L. Keith Jordan

L. Keith Jordan, CPA, is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Texas with over 40 years of experience in accounting, supervision, and management. His experience in industry includes many roles, among them: general accountant; cost and budgeting accountant; accounts payable supervisor; and property accountant. His work eventually led him to become a company controller, where he served for many years. Mr. Jordan also has experience in academic administration, where he served as Controller/Business Manager for a higher education component campus.

In addition to his accounting duties, Mr. Jordan's responsibilities have included network administration; software programming; and information technology development and coordination. With his emphasis on business applications software, his ability to create software applications to meet accounting and business needs has often helped him increase or extend organizational capability and effectiveness.

Mr. Jordan is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and a QuickBooks Affiliate. For several years, his sideline practice included teaching QuickBooks as a classroom instructor and helping clients with management, accounting, and QuickBooks issues. During this time, he also created a number of QuickBooks courses for continuing professional education (CPE) credit.

Mr. Jordan is currently self-employed and his CPA practice continues to focus on technical writing and editing. Beyond QuickBooks, his works include courses concerning components of productivity software suites such as Microsoft® Office, Google’s G Suite, and LibreOffice. Some of these works have also involved creating code script for automation.
