Carl Stephani has authored dozens of articles on subjects such as management and planning, many of which have been published nationally. He is also a co-author and/or editor in books such as Cities Going Green, Global Modules of Urban Planning, and Urban Transportation Innovations Worldwide, published by McFarland Press.
He has also acted as guest speaker at numerous conferences across the nation. These conferences were mainly of the APA, ICMA, and other national organizations which are involved in city government and planning.
He has worked for Planning Departments in various places, such as San Diego County, Benton County, California, and the City of Albany (Oregon). He has also served as a Councilman on the Albany City Council, and as a County Commissioner for Linn County. He currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
