DESCRIPTION

No matter how important the details in your spreadsheet, if you can’t communicate your insights with other (less technical) people, that information won’t change anything. Being able to tell an effective story through the use of charts and other visualization tools is the key to communicating effectively. Join us to learn not only how to create compelling graphics, but how to choose the right one for each situation.
Until a few years ago it was enough to take a set of numbers and create a bar chart or pie chart. Although in the right situation these traditional charts are still appropriate, things have moved on. We are constantly hearing words like data visualization and Infographic. It's time to get your Excel-related business and communication skills up to date and learn how to use it to present data in the modern world.
This Excel data visualization webinar will teach you how to: create a basic chart and then customize it, combine charts and then automate them, create infographics, and present geographical data visually. Demonstrate scenario on the fly, SUMIFS and COUNTIFS-based tables, Non-native chart types – waffles and maps, conditional formatting.

Learning Objectives:

In this session by expert speaker Neil Malek, you will be able to build a compelling and effective visualization for the data sets you see every day. You’ll also learn how to create Sparkline charts (really useful in dashboards), infographic-style charts and how to represent data in a visual way without using the charting features at all. The training will be delivered using Excel 2016 for Windows although for users of earlier versions, much of the functionality is available in Excel 2010 and 2013.
