DESCRIPTION

Pay Equity is one of the new employment law “hot buttons”. Staying ahead of the laws and the EEOC’s enforcement efforts will enable you to fly under the radar, avoid employee lawsuits, and attract and retain good talent so your company remains competitive in today’s market In this webinar, you will learn about your obligations as an employer in achieving pay equity in your workplace and ways to prevent pay discrimination claims as well as whether you will be subject to the new EEO-1 reporting rules.

The on again, off again Pay Data EEO-1 Reporting Requirement is On Again! Effective September 30, 2019, Employers Have to submit pay data as part of their reporting mandate!

The EEO-1 report provides the EEOC with data about the size, location, and race and gender demographics of an employer’s workforce. In 2017, due to proposed changes that would have required employers to also provide information on employee compensation and hours worked, the filing deadline for 2017 EEO-1 reports was changed to March 31, 2018, and now due to the partial lapse in appropriations, EEO-1 portal opening has been postponed until early March 2019.

The deadline for filing your EEO-1 report is fast approaching! Filing it correctly is vitally important, because the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs use your information to determine whether your company should be audited. If you providing inaccurate information the EEOC and/or OFCCP might suspect willfulness violations or dishonesty which can lead to penalties or  in more serious cases, criminal charges.

In this webinar we will cover the significant changes the EEOC made to the EEO-1 survey, its impact on businesses, and what you can do now to prepare. This webinar will walk you through step by step of what you need to do to ensure compliance.
