All employers are less likely to experience a fire than Workplace Violence (WPV). Actually, the possibility of experiencing WPV is 18 times more as compared to a fire. Despite that, most employers have fully functional fire safety equipment and systems in place while doing nothing on WPV. Even if your management has in place a WPV policy, it’s less likely that prevention protocols, reporting procedures, or a team deployed to control WPV. No employee training.
